Dr. Kim Floyd

Dr. Kim Floyd is an associate professor of special education in the School of Counseling and Well-Being and Coordinator of the Collaborative Assistive Technology Education Lab at West Virginia University. She is also a fully-certified Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor.  Dr. Floyd’s interests include trauma and resiliency in children, preschool inclusive education, assistive technology, autism, and the translation of research to rural education practice. She serves as  Co-Coordinator, of the American Council on Rural Special Education.
