Ms. Danielle Jones is a student in the school counseling master’s program at West Virginia University and serves as the graduate assistant for the 2023 grant year. Born and raised in Ohio, she received her Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University with a biological sciences (applied physiology) major and psychology minor. She spent the years following her undergraduate education mentoring teenagers and college students through campus ministry which led her to pursue a counseling degree and career. Danielle’s aspirations of becoming a school counselor are centered around being an advocate for youth to grow and learn in a safe space to become the version of themselves they desire.
